Various projects including graphic and web design, video production, production of online course, content production for social media during 2014-2015 for the Office of International Services at North Carolina State University.
The projects developed at the Office of International Services included:
Coordination of communications, including the creation and implementation of a visual identity for the OIS, graphic design for stationary, office signage, bulletin boards, presentation templates, layout redesign and production of student and faculty newsletters, merchandise design, photography, video production, and promotion of OIS programs and events.
Online communication, including CMS migration from drupal to wordpress and website redesign, creation and implementation of social media strategy for the OIS.
Design and implementation of forms to optimize the processing capacity of the immigration services provided by the office.
Creation of institutional campaigns in various media to bring awareness to issues of cultural and international diversity.
Implementation of two versions of the “International Student Virtual Companion”, an online education tool to assist incoming international students in navigating the practical and cultural challenges of their move to NC State. The “International Student Virtual Companion” was initially implemented as an online education project using Moodle. In its latest edition, the initiative was conducted using a variety of digital media tools such as the “Wolfpack World” blog, social media channels, mobile applications (WeChat), and in partnership with the Culture to Culture Ambassador Program.
