How do the changes in visual cultures shape communication experiences and research? The 2nd International Seminar in Communication and Visual Cultures was held at the Federal University of Minas Gerais on October 16-17, 2019 and explored visuals and their constitutive relationships – based on the experiences of bodies with audio-visual texts. 

I participated as a panelist that discussed cartography as a method for visual studies, its epistemological implications, potentials, and limitations.
